What is the London Season?

The London Season is the annual run of social and sporting fixtures that begins in spring and closes in late summer — Royal Ascot, the Chelsea Flower Show, Trooping the Colour, the Boat Race, Wimbledon, Henley Royal Regatta, Glorious Goodwood and Cowes Week among them. Several of its anchors sit outside London: Ascot is in Berkshire, Henley in Oxfordshire, Goodwood in West Sussex and Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
