/ About the Role
We're after a hostess who can set the tone of the welcome — so every guest feels like the only one in the room — at private and corporate events across London.
You'll represent the house on-site, occasion by occasion. You're the first face guests meet on arrival and the quiet hand that keeps the evening moving without friction. You read people fast and put them at ease faster — and the tricky moment gets handled with a smile while nobody else notices.
/ What You'll Do
- Receive, recognise and seat guests, and manage the door and the flow of the floor
- Set the tone of the occasion from the first moment
- Handle guest profiles, requests and occasions with discretion
- Anticipate what guests need and stay a step ahead of it
- Work with the event lead, the venue and service partners to keep the night on course
- Hold the difficult moment calmly, and keep what happens in the room in the room
/ Who You Are
Big personality, genuine warmth — that matters more to us than a CV full of venues. That said, here's what makes a strong fit:
- Experience hostessing private events, corporate occasions or premium hospitality
- A polished, unhurried and confident manner around international guests
- Discretion by default, and composure when a room shifts
- Quick to read people and make them feel at ease
- Fluent English; other languages welcome
- Free for evenings and weekends across the London events calendar
