The Craft Behind the Room
Light, sound, video and staging that shape an occasion — engineered with precision, felt by everyone and noticed by no one.
/ About the Role
We're after production and visuals specialists — lighting, sound, video and LED operators, show-callers and staging crew — to build and run the technical side of private events, corporate nights and club nights across London.
You'll build the technical world an evening lives inside — light, sound, video and staging — and run it so cleanly that the room simply feels right and the work behind it goes unseen. You stay calm when it's loud, late and live, and you fix it on your feet without the room ever knowing.
/ What You’ll Do
- Spec, rig, programme and operate lighting, audio, video, LED, projection and staging
- Take it from first plot and load-in, through soundcheck, to the final cue and strike
- Show-call when the night needs it — cue the room and hold the timing
- Build and run live visuals that match the music and the moment
- Read a run-sheet, build a patch and plot, and manage crew and the get-in/out on a clock
- Fix it live — power, signal, networking — when something moves on the night
/ Who You Are
We care more about how you hold a show together than the kit list on your CV. That said, here's what makes a strong fit:
- A reel, or a list of shows you've delivered, that we can look at
- Hands-on experience across lighting, live sound, video and LED, projection or staging
- Earned at private events, luxury hospitality or live shows
- The composure to read a space fast and work to a fine tolerance
- The safety awareness live work demands — rigging, power and load management — and the right tickets where they apply
- Precise, unflustered and easy to have on site
- Free for evenings and weekends across the London events calendar
