LIT.ME live musician performing at a private event in Mayfair, London

Live Musician / Ensemble

London

/ About the Role

We're after live musicians and ensembles who can read a room — saxophonists, pianists, vocalists, string players and DJ-hybrid acts for private and corporate events across London.

You'll play for the house occasion by occasion — a saxophone over dinner, a trio that lifts a reception, an act that takes a room into the night. You can play background and bring a room to its feet, and you know which the moment needs. The occasion stays the point; you make it feel alive.

/ What You’ll Do

  • Play sets tailored to the occasion — solo, as an ensemble, or alongside a DJ
  • Read the dinner, lift the drinks reception, then own the dancefloor
  • Adapt repertoire, volume and energy as the night moves
  • Work with the event lead, the venue and production on staging, sound and timings
  • Turn up self-sufficient — your instrument, your backline, your backups
  • Keep to time and set length, and stay composed whoever’s in the room

/ Who You Are

We care more about how you read a room than the length of your set list. That said, here's what makes a strong fit:

  • An accomplished musician with experience at private events or luxury hospitality
  • The versatility to serve the occasion over the spotlight
  • A repertoire that crosses jazz, soul, contemporary and Mediterranean
  • Reliable in soundcheck as well as on stage
  • Free for evenings and weekends across the London events calendar
  • Acts that pair live instruments with a DJ are welcome
