Our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookies Policy collectively constitute the complete policy framework governing your use of our website.
1. What This Policy Covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on litme.events, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to refuse or remove it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with personal data and names Royist Ltd as the controller.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Local storage and session storage are similar, and we cover those in section 5.
We run a deliberately light setup. We use no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social media tracking pixels, and nothing that follows you to other websites or builds a profile of your browsing.
2. The Cookies We Set
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Website to work. Without them, sign-in and access control fail. They do not need your consent, and refusing them will break parts of the site.

Not strictly necessary
We set one cookie that is not required for the Website to function. It is listed here in full because it is the one you may want to refuse.

It stores the campaign parameters from that link — source, medium, campaign, term, content, and any referral code — and attaches them to a form you later submit, so we can attribute the enquiry to the right campaign or referrer. This is an attribution cookie, not a strictly necessary one. If you would rather not have it, section 6 explains how to block or remove it. Blocking it costs you nothing: every page and every form works exactly the same without it.
3. What We Do Not Use
- Third-party analytics products, or any advertising network's analytics
- Advertising, retargeting or conversion cookies
- Any social media tracking pixel
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Any cookie that builds a profile of your browsing behaviour
- Any cookie that sells or shares data with an advertising network
4. Analytics
We measure how the Website is used with analytics software we self-host on our own infrastructure. It loads on production pages only, and it is not a third-party analytics product.
It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records page views, referrers and a small set of events we define — a form submitted, a venue viewed, an item saved — and aggregates them. It does not identify you, does not follow you to other websites, and does not share data with an advertising network.
Because it is self-hosted, the data stays on infrastructure we operate rather than going to a third-party analytics company. If your browser or extension blocks the script, the Website works exactly as it does otherwise.
5. Local and Session Storage
We store a few of your own preferences in your browser's local storage and session storage. These are not cookies, are never sent to our servers, and never leave your device. Clearing your site data removes them.
- Currency preference — the currency you chose to see prices in.
- Navigation context — the page you came from, so a "back" link returns you to the right place in a filtered list.
- Admin theme — light or dark mode, for our own admin only.
6. Third-Party Services
Some parts of the Website load content from other companies. Doing so sends your IP address to them, and they may set their own cookies under their own policies.
- Our database and sign-in provider — sets the session cookies listed in section 2.
- Our maps provider — the maps on venue pages. A map only loads on a venue page that has one.
- Our content delivery network — image storage and delivery, and domain routing.
Where an occasion is ticketed, the checkout is hosted by our ticketing provider on its own domain, under its own cookies policy. You leave our Website to reach it.
7. How to Refuse or Remove Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the
strictly necessary cookies in section 2 will stop sign-in and access control
from working. Blocking utm_ref has no effect on how the Website works
for you.

8. Changes to This Policy
We update this policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie. The date at the foot of the page tells you when it last changed. We suggest you review it from time to time.
