The Nutcracker

Peter Wright’s production of The Nutcracker returns to the Main Stage at Covent Garden from Thursday 3 December 2026 to Wednesday 13 January 2027. The season marks Peter Wright’s centenary, and the Royal Opera House is running an Insights evening on his career as the ballet returns. Six weeks over Christmas and the new year is the longest continuous booking in the house’s year.
