Angel's Bone

Du Yun and Royce Vavrek’s Angel’s Bone plays the London Coliseum from Friday 16 to Saturday 31 October 2026. The company gives its premise plainly — two angels fall to earth, and heaven help them. It sits in an English National Opera season of nine works that the house has built around resistance, resilience and what it means to be free, four of them by contemporary female composers. Du Yun is among those four, and this is the work’s first staging at the Coliseum.
