The Mexican producer behind “Arriba Abajo” and the Afrodise movement returns to Ministry of Sound for his second London headline night.
Aaron Sevilla, the Mexican producer behind “Arriba Abajo”, headlines Ministry of Sound in Elephant and Castle on Friday 20 November 2026. It is his second London headline night, after a sold-out debut at the club earlier in the year.
Sevilla grew up in Mexico drawn to the percussion of his own heritage, and he built his sound on it: drums laid over the steady pulse of Afro house. He founded Afrodise, a label and a party that ties those rhythms to club culture. He also hosts Afrodise Radio, a weekly show on Beat 100.9, Mexico’s leading electronic station.
His breakthrough came in 2021, when “Arriba Abajo” reached the top of the specialist dance download charts. Releases followed on Stereo Productions, on MoBlack Records and on his own imprint. His sets have taken him from the beaches of Tulum to Cova Santa in Ibiza and YONA Beach Club in Thailand.
The night runs under the club’s BLINK banner. Ministry of Sound opened on Gaunt Street in 1991 and is in its 35th year this season.
P.O.U, 2CRIMES and Delta Vaults play in support.
