Hot Since 82, the South Yorkshire producer behind “Let It Ride” and the Knee Deep In Sound label, takes the Theatre at KOKO for a night of deep, melodic house.
Hot Since 82, the South Yorkshire house producer whose sets have taken him to Coachella, Glastonbury and Tomorrowland, headlines the Theatre at KOKO in Camden on Saturday 12 December 2026.
Hot Since 82 is Daley Padley, born in 1982 and raised in South Yorkshire. He was in the region’s clubs at 14 and playing 12-hour Sunday sets under his own name by 17. That residency led, in 2006, to a summer at Amnesia in Ibiza with the Leeds club Glasshouse.
The alias arrived by accident. At a Holmfirth afterparty in 2010 the music cut out, and Padley played an unfinished track of his own from his phone. It was released as “Let It Ride” in 2011.
His remix of Green Velvet’s “Bigger Than Prince” went to number one in 2013. That year also brought his first Essential Mix and his debut album, Little Black Book. In 2014 he founded Knee Deep In Sound, a label for a younger generation of house and techno producers.
KOKO has hosted him before. This date returns him to its Theatre with a set drawn from the deeper, melodic side of his catalogue.
