Croatia, beaten 4-2 by England at the 2026 World Cup and 7-0 in Rijeka in October, visit Wembley for the return match in the UEFA Nations League.
England’s men play Croatia, World Cup semi-finalists in 2018 and 2022, in the UEFA Nations League at Wembley Stadium in Wembley on Thursday 12 November 2026.
The sides first met at a World Cup in the 2018 semi-final, which Croatia won 2-1 after extra time. England beat them 1-0 in the group stage of Euro 2020, played in June 2021.
They met again in Dallas on 17 June 2026, in England’s opening match of that year’s World Cup. Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford scored in a 4-2 win. England went on to win the bronze-medal match against France.
This is the return fixture in League A, Group 3. Thomas Tuchel’s side won the first 7-0 in Rijeka on 3 October, a record Nations League victory for England.
Croatia are coached by Slaven Bilić and captained by Luka Modrić. Spain and Czechia complete the group, and Spain won 3-2 at Wembley in September.
