Some Woman

Helen Edmundson’s new play runs in the Dorfman Theatre from Wednesday 7 October to Saturday 21 November 2026, directed by Blanche McIntyre. Anne-Marie Duff features as an ordinary woman who refuses to be quiet, and the play follows what that refusal costs her. The National calls it provocative. Six weeks is a full run for a new play in the Dorfman, and Edmundson’s text is the only wholly original work on the South Bank’s autumn slate.
