The Dutch DJ and Up The Stuss founder, whose “All Night Long” and “Desire” carried deep house to the biggest dancefloors, returns to the Theatre at KOKO.
Chris Stassy, the Dutch DJ whose “Desire” has passed 50 million streams, returns to the Theatre at KOKO in Camden on Friday 4 December 2026. He plays stripped-back house.
Born Niels Steenbergen in Leiderdorp in 1994 and raised in Leiden, he also performs as Chris Stussy. Over a decade he has played the European underground and the larger stages of Awakenings, Time Warp, Coachella, and DC10 and Amnesia in Ibiza.
In 2020 he founded Up The Stuss, now a home for a new generation of house artists including S.A.M., Kolter, Locklead and Janeret. His career grew sharply in 2023 with “All Night Long” on his own label.
A remix of Moby’s “Go” reached number one, and a rework of Todd Terry’s “Bounce To The Beat” followed. In April 2026 he released his debut album, Lost, Found & Forgotten.
London already knows him. His own series here, USS, launched in February 2025 with a no-phones policy. This date follows his first all-night set at KOKO in 2023 and a double-header there in 2024.
KOKO calls the night one of its season highlights.
