Goldsmiths' Fair 2027

21 September 2027 – 3 October 2027 Goldsmiths' Hall · City of London

Britain's independent jewellers and silversmiths sell direct from the bench inside the livery hall that has guarded the precious-metal standard for seven centuries.

Goldsmiths’ Fair returns to Goldsmiths’ Hall in the City of London from Tuesday 21 September to Sunday 3 October 2027. For a fortnight, British jewellers and silversmiths sell work they made by hand.

The Goldsmiths’ Company took its royal charter in 1327 and ranks fifth in precedence among the City’s livery companies. It still runs the London Assay Office, which upholds the hallmarking standard, and the crowned leopard’s face struck on London gold is its own mark.

The present Hall on Foster Lane, behind St Paul’s, has housed the fair since 1983. Makers are chosen through a selection that judges both material and craftsmanship, and every piece on the stands carries precious metal.

Up to ten Emerging Business Bursary places each year bring early-career makers in beside established names. The fair is a regular stop for private collectors, curators and the international fine jewellery trade.

The 2027 fair runs as two weeks, opening on 21 September and again on 28 September, and each week has its own exhibitors. The 2026 edition gathered 138 jewellers and silversmiths, with talks and exhibitions on the craft beside the stands.
