David Guetta, the Parisian DJ and producer who carried house music into the pop charts, brings The Monolith Tour to The O2 in the arena’s twentieth summer.
David Guetta, who has topped the international poll of DJs six times, brings The Monolith Tour to The O2 arena in North Greenwich on Saturday 5 June 2027.
Born Pierre David Guetta in Paris in 1967, he started as a disc jockey in the city’s nightclubs. He turned to house music after hearing a Farley “Jackmaster” Funk record on French radio in 1987. By 1994 he managed Le Palace and threw his own parties at Les Bains-Douches.
In 2001 he and Joachim Garraud founded Gum Productions. Its first single, “Just a Little More Love”, led to a debut album in 2002. The breakthrough was One Love in 2009, when “When Love Takes Over”, with Kelly Rowland, and two further singles reached number one in Britain.
He has since won two Grammy Awards and the BRIT for producer of the year. Seven of his singles have reached number one in Britain, among them “Titanium”, with Sia. He also records house as Jack Back.
The Monolith Tour is the show he took this year from Coachella to three nights at the Stade de France. In Greenwich it plays one Saturday, inside the arena’s twentieth-anniversary summer.
