Rhys Warrington’s Monument runs at the Royal Court from Thursday 3 December 2026 to Saturday 23 January 2027, directed by Francesca Goodridge. A Welsh farming community, torn apart by tragedy and watched by the world, gathers to debate a planned memorial. It holds the theatre’s Christmas and new-year slot and overlaps The Afronauts through December. Seven weeks makes it the longest of the Royal Court’s four announced productions this season.
