Chain of Hope sends volunteer surgeons and medical teams to operate on children with heart disease in developing and war-torn countries, and the Gala Ball is the night that pays for a year of it: the last one raised over £1.8 million. It returns to the Natural History Museum on Friday 13 November 2026, black tie, and the charity bills this one as its thirtieth. The evening is put together by a committee rather than an agency, with four co-chairs and a membership the charity publishes by name beside the date. Tables and individual tickets are both taken directly by Chain of Hope, not through a seller, which is the tell that separates this kind of ball from the kind sold by the table to companies.
