Salon Privé, founded at the Hurlingham Club in 2006, is the only concours in Britain judged across every marque by a professional jury, held on the South Lawn at Blenheim.
Salon Privé, Britain’s only concours judged across every marque by a professional jury, returns to Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, from Wednesday 1 to Sunday 5 September 2027.
The brothers Andrew and David Bagley launched it at the Hurlingham Club in London in 2006. Research trips to Amelia Island, Monterey Car Week and the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on Lake Como came first. The event moved to Syon Park in 2011 and settled at its present home in 2015.
Salon Privé is the first automotive event in the world certified as a B Corporation. In 2026 it added a second Best of Show award, for modern collector cars.
A 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S took the 2026 Concours d’Elégance. A 1995 McLaren F1 became the first winner of the new Concours d’Excellence.
Each day of the 2027 week has its own character. New models meet the press on the Wednesday, and the concours is judged across the middle of the week.
On Supercar Saturday and Supercar Sunday, Richard Hammond judges the Concours de Vente, in which British specialists show collector cars for sale. The Colour Collection gathers up to 20 white cars on the South Lawn.
