La traviata

Verdi’s La traviata runs at the London Coliseum from Wednesday 3 February to Saturday 13 March 2027. English National Opera reduces it to three words — love costs everything — and gives it the longest slot in the second half of its season. Six weeks through February and early March places it squarely in the quietest stretch of the London calendar, which is precisely when a house with 2,300 seats has room to sell them. It opens the second half of a season whose London dates began the previous October.
