EMBER by Dlala Thukzin

12 – 13 February 2027 Roundhouse · Chalk Farm

The Durban DJ and producer behind “iPlan” celebrates his album EMBER with two extended sets in the Roundhouse Main Space, his largest British headline.

Dlala Thukzin, the South African producer behind “iPlan”, brings his album EMBER to the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 February 2027. The two nights are the largest British headline of his career.

He was born Thuthuka Wandile Zindlovu in 1997 and raised in Lamontville in Durban, the KwaZulu-Natal city whose gqom scene gave him his start. He first came to wide notice as the producer of “Umngan’wami” for Babes Wodumo, from her 2016 album Gqom Queen, Vol. 1.

His sound joins gqom’s heavy drums to the drive of Afro tech and the warmth of amapiano, released through his own Dlala Records. “Phuze”, made with Zaba in 2021, went gold in South Africa, and its remix went double platinum.

Two years later “iPlan” reached number one on the country’s official streaming chart and its Billboard songs chart, and was certified double platinum. His collaborations stretch to Kususa, Darque and Kabza De Small.

The London dates follow two sold-out shows, and the second night was added after the first was announced. Labyrinth presents him in the Main Space, with an extended set on each night.
