German Expressionism: Modern Painting 1900–1918

The National Gallery gathers fifty German Expressionist works from collections around the world, running from Saturday 20 March to Sunday 1 August 2027. The Gallery frames it as an alternative story of early twentieth-century art to the one usually told through Paris. Four and a half months takes it across the whole of the London Season.
