sombr makes his UK arena debut with five nights at The O2 arena on 21, 22, 24, 25 and 29 June 2027, with Suki Waterhouse as special guest.
sombr is Shane Boose, born in New York in 2005, who put out his first single at sixteen and then spent four years releasing music to almost nobody. The songs are guitar-led and unfashionably sincere, a young man singing about wanting things badly with none of the ironic distance his generation is supposed to require. Then 2025 arrived: back to friends went to the top of Spotify’s global chart, the debut album I Barely Know Her followed, and a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist came with it.
So the career is four quiet years and one very loud one, and it is the loud one the arena circuit has priced. He has sold out tours across Europe and North America on an audience assembled almost entirely inside eighteen months, which is fast enough that nobody yet knows how deep it goes. Five nights at a 20,000-seat room is a confident reading of it, and this is his first UK arena booking of any kind.
He plays The O2 arena on 21, 22, 24, 25 and 29 June 2027, with Suki Waterhouse as special guest. It is his UK arena debut and it is five nights, which is not what a debut usually looks like. The venue has placed the run inside the series marking its twentieth birthday, alongside Maisie Peters in May, Shreya Ghoshal on 4 June, Don Omar in July and Jorja Smith on 17 July.
