Wild Notting Hill

Wild took the Westbourne Grove site that brunch spot 202 left behind and opened there on 23 September 2023, four years after Wild Tavern started trading in Chelsea. The room is large and loud in the way that stretch of W11 likes: a wraparound marble bar under globe pendants, exposed brick, deep leather seating and a long open kitchen with a charcoal Josper grill, which the counter seats look straight into. It holds 120 diners.

The cooking is Mediterranean with an Italian centre of gravity, built on raw materials the kitchen names by origin: Sicilian red prawns, Puglian burrata, Spanish bluefin. The bar keeps its own hours, running to midnight from Monday to Saturday on a short cocktail list and a wine list worth reading. Weekend lunch starts at 11:00.

For private events there are two spaces beyond the main floor. A semi-private dining room sits at the back under a conservatory roof, light through the day and warm after dark. Behind it is a walled courtyard with a brick fireplace, bistro chairs and enough planting to read as a garden rather than a terrace. Wild Group runs one events desk across its eleven restaurants and handles enquiries for all three spaces, including the full-restaurant buyout.
