/ About

Sartoria Launceston Place opened in November 2025 as the second outpost of The Evolv Collection's Sartoria brand, first established by Sir Terence Conran on Savile Row in 1990. The Kensington address inherited the site of the long-running Launceston Place, and the group worked with brand historian Ron Cregan (Mulberry, The Maybourne Group) to translate Sartoria's mid-century Milanese references into a smaller, neighbourhood-scaled room: precise tailoring, rich materials, restrained elegance.

The interiors leaned into a soft, largely monochromatic palette of muted sea-green and white, with plush upholstery and comfortable sofa chairs that read closer to a well-loved sitting room than a dining room. A compact bar greeted arrivals before guests were shown through to one of several connected rooms, each set with a mix of smaller tables and a few larger ones suited to longer gatherings. Lighting stayed dim and flattering, and contemporary artwork hung on the walls throughout.

The kitchen served an all-day 'cucina elegante' menu built around modern Italian pasta and truffle dishes, alongside a cocktail list heavy on house signatures. Private hire ran across three connected spaces: an exclusive whole-venue buyout with its own bar and entrance, a semi-private section within the main dining room, and a fully enclosed private dining room for smaller parties.
