/ About

RH opened its first London gallery in June 2026 inside Uxbridge House, the Palladian mansion Giacomo Leoni designed on Burlington Gardens in the 1720s, later a Bank of England branch and, more recently, an Abercrombie & Fitch store. Foster + Partners knitted three Grade II-listed buildings into a single five-floor gallery, and the restoration runs from the Leoni Stairs and their hand-gilded dome to an architecture and design library at the entrance. Restaurants, bars and a rooftop garden sit among the furniture collections rather than beside them, so a meal here comes with the run of the house.

The centrepiece is The Dining Room, set in the former banking hall beneath a coffered ceiling finished in gold leaf, with champagne-lacquered columns rising close to eight metres and tiered chandeliers of hand-blown Venetian glass. The menu leans on caviar, seafood towers and British and American classics off the rotisserie. On the ground floor a tea salon and wine bar clad in bronze Amani marble pour teas, Champagnes and wines through the day.

Up on the roof, The Perch is Anouska Hempel's garden above Savile Row: pleated umbrellas, arched mirrors and water rills, with glass birdcages and semi-private conservatories that lend themselves to smaller gatherings. The adjoining Perch Bar, a jewel box of blackened eglomise under a smoked-glass canopy, and the World of RH Bar and Lounge carry the drinks list into the evening. For a private dinner, a rooftop reception or a launch, it is one of the more distinctive rooms to have opened in Mayfair.
