Los Mochis London City

Nine floors above Broadgate Circle, Los Mochis London City is the City sibling of Markus Thesleff's Notting Hill original, trading the townhouse for a wraparound rooftop and a skyline that runs from the Gherkin to St Paul's. The kitchen works the same Mexican-Japanese line: sushi and robata alongside tostadas and tacos, anchored by a TENrei tuna-cutting ceremony and a twelve-seat LUNA omakase counter where the chefs work directly in front of guests.

The room is built for a crowd. A central sushi bar and banquette dining give way to the Agaveria, a circular agave and cocktail bar canopied in greenery, and out onto the glass-roofed rooftop terrace. Fridays turn over to Tulum Nights, and the kitchen runs to 3am Thursday through Saturday, which is rare this deep in the Square Mile.

For private events the venue splits cleanly: a Private Dining Room for around twenty, a larger Semi-Private room, the Agaveria for receptions, the rooftop terrace for warmer-weather hire, LUNA for an omakase table, and a full-restaurant buyout for the whole ninth floor. City corporate entertaining and celebrations both sit naturally here, with a serious drinks programme and late licence behind them.
