/ About
Lucky Cat at 22 Bishopsgate sits on Level 60, the highest restaurant in Europe, with 360-degree views that take in Tower Bridge, the Shard, St Paul's and Battersea Power Station. Opened in February 2025 as Gordon Ramsay's largest investment to date, it is the City sibling to the original Mayfair site and draws on the Tokyo drinking dens and 1930s Shanghai supper clubs the Lucky Cat name is built around. Russell Sage Studio designed the interior and Victoria Jerram handled the lighting: a large Shoji lantern hangs over the main floor, a bespoke cluster chandelier marks the sushi end, and a gold bamboo portal leads in past a backlit shelf of ceramic lucky cats. The palette is dark steel, lacquered red and brass, lit low enough that the skyline outside does most of the work after dark.
The room runs from an open robata kitchen and a raw and sushi bar to a long marble cocktail bar set against a backlit wall of bottles, with red-velvet lounge seating beyond it. For private events there is a Sushi Counter for twelve, a Private Dining Room for eighteen against a full-height window, and a roof terrace with a retractable glass roof opening later in 2026. The full restaurant can be taken exclusively for 235 seated or 300 standing.
The bar programme is cocktail-led and the licence runs late: to 1am Monday to Wednesday and 3am Thursday to Saturday, with nightly DJ sets already part of the format and external DJs welcome on private hires. The venue supplies its own sound system and bar; for a DJ-led City event the main bar and lounge end is the natural floor, with the open kitchen and the skyline behind it.

Exclusive Hire
Exclusive HireThe full Level 60 restaurant taken exclusively: 235 seated or up to 300 standing across the open kitchen, raw bar, marble cocktail bar and lounge, wrapped on every side by the skyline. With the 3am weekend licence, in-house sound system and external DJs welcome, this is the workable layout for a full City takeover with dinner moving into a late reception.
The Terrace
Semi PrivateA roof terrace at the highest point of the building with a retractable glass roof and 360-degree views, set to open later in 2026 for cocktails and late-night entertainment. Seats up to 60. The licence runs to 3am alongside the restaurant.
Private Dining Room
PrivateAn enclosed room for eighteen on a single long table, set against a full-height window with the City skyline below. Fluted grey wall panelling and a run of dome pendant lights give it a quiet, contained feel away from the main floor.
Sushi Counter
Semi PrivateCounter seating for twelve at the raw and sushi bar, set beneath a canopy of hexagonal metal lanterns with glass ageing cabinets behind. Sushi, sashimi and raw-bar dishes are prepared to order in front of guests, suited to a small group who want an interactive seat at the action rather than a closed room.
The Bar
Semi PrivateThe social heart of the floor: a long marble cocktail bar set against a backlit wall of spirits, lit by a cluster of conical pendant lights, with red-velvet lounge seating spreading out beneath the exposed ceiling. The cocktail programme runs here and the licence stretches to 3am at weekends, making it the natural floor for a late, DJ-led City event.
