/ About
Lita occupies a red-brick corner of Paddington Street, at the quiet top end of Marylebone Village, in the room that was once Carluccio's. Chef Luke Ahearne, who cooked at Corrigan's Mayfair and The Clove Club, sends out a Mediterranean and southern European menu built around an open fire grill at the back of the dining room, where a whole turbot or dry-aged Devon duck comes off the coals. The Michelin Guide awarded Lita a star within its first year, and it holds one star in the 2026 selection.
B3 Designers dressed the space as a warm, lived-in bistro: reclaimed terracotta laid in herringbone, exposed timber joists, blood-orange mohair banquettes and deep green drapes under bronze and antique-brass light. Counters in reddish sapele wood and red travertine run past the marble-topped bar, and a walk-in cellar holds the Mediterranean wine list. Contemporary artwork, chosen by the owner, hangs throughout.
For private events, a dining room at the back seats eight beneath a feature chandelier and floral wallpaper, concealed by curtains from the main room when in use. A terrace at the front on Paddington Street adds room for around twenty in warmer months, and the restaurant is available for private hire. Enquire for private bookings.
