Josephine Marylebone

Claude and Lucy Bosi opened the second Josephine on Blandford Street in April 2025, a few doors off Marylebone High Street. Where the Chelsea original looks to Lyon, this one reads Paris. The room is dark timber and antique mirror over a black-and-white tiled floor, with red leather banquettes running its length, bentwood chairs, and framed pictures and plates covering the walls. Breakfast runs from eight on weekdays, and the terrace seats sixteen when the weather holds.

Private events sit behind a curtained arch beside the marble-topped bar. Le Salon Privé is a fully private room for twenty-four, wrapped in burgundy leather and dark panelling over a terrazzo floor, its walls given over to a gallery of vintage French posters, photographs and artwork. The bar next to it can be taken alongside for a standing reception before guests sit down. The whole restaurant is available on an exclusive basis for fifty-five seated.

The wine list leans on the Loire and Bordeaux with a long run of vintage champagne, and the kitchen sends British seafood out alongside the Parisian classics. It suits the dinner that wants a room of its own without leaving the noise of a working brasserie behind.
