/ About
Trishna has held a Michelin star since 2012 and built its reputation on the coastal cooking of south-west India (the Konkan and Malabar coasts), executed with precision across both floors of a quietly handsome Marylebone Village townhouse. On the ground floor, whitewashed stone walls, original wooden panelling, antique mirrors, and a wall of vintage Indian travel posters create a room that feels genuinely characterful. Terrace doors fold back to bring in Blandford Street, and the bar is stocked with a wine list that leans into niche producers and emerging regions.
Below, the Koliwada Room is the centrepiece for private dining. Refurbished in early 2025 in soft green with rattan panel detailing, framed vintage prints, and a full wine display running the length of one wall, it seats up to twelve around a solid oak dining table beneath lantern pendants. The room is self-contained, reached from the lower ground floor, and the wine collection behind glass creates an atmosphere that is more residential than formal. Chef teams build menus around the private dining and tasting repertoire, with sommelier input available on pairing.
For larger gatherings the ground floor is available as a partitioned semi-private section for up to thirty-five guests, or as a complete exclusive hire seating sixty — with the terrace adding an al fresco element when the weather allows. Trishna sits within the JKS Restaurants group, and the events team handles everything from bespoke menu design to floristry sourcing.
