Ekstedt at The Yard

Ekstedt at The Yard is Niklas Ekstedt’s first restaurant outside Stockholm, set inside the Great Scotland Yard hotel just off Whitehall. The kitchen is built around fire: a fire pit, a wood-fired oven and a wood stove, applied to seasonal British produce, with pickled, fermented and cured ingredients carrying the Nordic thread through the menu.

The MICHELIN Guide lists the restaurant and describes the room as cosy and designer-rustic. Dinner runs as a tasting menu or à la carte, and a Chef’s Table seats a full party in sight of the kitchen.

The restaurant takes exclusive hire of the whole room for birthdays, engagements, corporate dinners and other occasions, with bespoke menus agreed with the hotel’s events team.
