/ About

Dorian opened on Talbot Road in October 2022 and became one of the hardest reservations in London almost immediately. Founded by Chris D'Sylva, the Notting Hill restaurateur behind the neighbourhood's fish shop and Supermarket of Dreams, it was conceived as a local brasserie rather than a destination dining room, and within its first eighteen months it held a MICHELIN star. The crowd it draws now runs from serious food lovers to a regular A-list, and the room rarely has an empty table.

Head chef and co-owner Max Coen, who came through Ikoyi, Kitchen Table and Frantzen in Stockholm, cooks a modern British menu built around a wood-fired grill, with skilled fire cooking running through the whole card. The setting is a compact, energetic bistro: green leather banquettes, dark wood panelling, brass wall lights, a large gilded mirror and closely set white-clothed tables under natural light, an open kitchen along one side and a serious wine list to match.

The dining room seats 44, which makes it a natural whole-restaurant buyout for a private event. Taken exclusively, guests have the full room, the bar and the open kitchen to themselves, with the same energy and kitchen that made it one of west London's most talked-about tables. Private hire is by enquiry.
