/ About
Sino is a contemporary Ukrainian restaurant on All Saints Road in Notting Hill, opened in 2025 by founder Polina Sychova and chef Eugene Korolev. Its name is the Ukrainian word for hay, and hay runs through both the room and the menu. Korolev was born in Dnipro and cooked at Vendôme near Cologne, Atelier Amaro in Warsaw and Benoit in Paris before Sino. The restaurant is listed in the MICHELIN Guide.
Sychova designed the interior herself. Textured walls recall the whitewashed mazanka houses of rural Ukraine, hay hangs from the ceiling, and clay lamps shaped like bells hang over the tables. Hand-shaped ceramics fired with smoke, and old jars from Sychova's hometown, line the shelves behind the tiled bar. There Ana Reznik builds cocktails from childhood memories with molecular technique, and the wine list sets Ukrainian varietals beside Old World benchmarks.
For a private occasion, a dining room deep inside the restaurant seats up to eight and looks into the kitchen. A larger group can take the whole restaurant for a seated dinner or a cocktail reception, arranged with the reservations team.
