/ About

COMO Metropolitan London has stood on Old Park Lane, facing Hyde Park, since 1997, one of the first hotels in the city built around a genuinely contemporary aesthetic when Keith Hobbs stripped its interiors back to light woods and pared white walls. It was also where Nobu opened its first restaurant outside New York, and for a decade the ground-floor Met Bar drew the era's most photographed regulars before it closed. The hotel itself was renovated top to toe in 2015, adding nine new suites and a reconfigured tenth floor, and the calm, understated register survived the update intact.

Nobu remains on the ground floor, still serving the black cod and Hamachi sashimi that made its name, while Labombe by Trivet (the wine-forward younger sibling of the two-Michelin-starred Trivet, led by Jonny Lake and Isa Bal) took over the corner unit in 2025 with its own street entrance and, within the year, a Michelin star of its own. Both restaurants sit inside a hotel that otherwise reads as quietly private: 144 bedrooms and 19 residences arranged around a marble reception hall, with the discretion of a members' address rather than a Park Lane landmark.

The events floor is built around the White Room, a glass-pyramid-ceilinged space that runs meetings by day and, doubling as Nobu's own Shiro Room, private dinners by night. Four smaller Met rooms (Space, Boardroom, Lounge and Studio) interconnect for anything from a six-person supper to a reception, while Nobu's own private rooms extend the offer further, up to a full restaurant buyout for 200 guests. Labombe adds a separate, wheelchair-accessible private dining room seating twelve at one table.
