/ About

Bvlgari Hotel London opened in 2012 on the edge of Hyde Park, the jeweller's first London property and a ground-up build conceived as a hotel from the outset. Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel designed the interiors, with Squire & Partners as local architect, and the result is the house style in physical form: dark Sapele wood, silver detailing, black marble and a restrained, almost masculine glamour that runs from the lobby down to the spa.

The event spaces sit on their own floor and read as genuinely private. The Ballroom occupies an entire level reached by dedicated lifts from the lobby, lit by two handcrafted solid-silver chandeliers commissioned for the hotel, and seats 150 for dinner or up to 280 for a standing reception when the adjoining Ballroom Foyer and its mirrored bar are taken together. The room carries an in-house sound system and is licensed for music, which makes it the natural setting here for a DJ-led evening at scale.

Smaller gatherings have their own homes: an intimate Private Dining Room for up to 20, the wood-panelled Lord Marshall boardrooms, a 47-seat private cinema for screenings and presentations, and Nolita Social, the basement bar beneath the Sette restaurant that runs cocktails, live music and DJs and can be taken on exclusive hire. The hotel manages production in-house across all of it.
