Kylie Minogue, the Australian pop star with number ones in four decades, played The O2 arena in North Greenwich from Monday 26 May to Tuesday 3 June 2025. Jodie Harsh supported her on the four Tension Tour nights.

Minogue was born in Melbourne in 1968 and first became known as Charlene Mitchell in the soap opera Neighbours. Early singles for the PWL label, “The Loco-Motion” and “I Should Be So Lucky” among them, made her a pop fixture by the end of the 1980s.

Fever, in 2001, turned a national favourite into a worldwide one. Its lead single, “Can’t Get You Out of My Head”, sold over twelve million copies.

She is the first woman to top the UK albums chart in five consecutive decades. Tension and Tension II both reached number one in Britain, and “Padam Padam” won her a Grammy.

The four nights were her first shows at the arena in seven years. She sang “Say Something” on a second stage in the middle of the floor, beneath a descending disco ball. On the second night the crowd of 20,000 sang her happy birthday a day early, and she stopped to compose herself.
