Florence + the Machine, the London band whose singer Florence Welch headlined Glastonbury in 2015, celebrated the album Everybody Scream with two nights at The O2 arena.
Florence + the Machine, Glastonbury headliners in 2015, played The O2 arena in North Greenwich on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 February 2026 for their sixth album, Everybody Scream. Paris Paloma supported on both nights.
Florence Welch formed the band in London in 2007 with the keyboardist Isabella Summers, who was known as Machine. Their debut, Lungs, reached number one in January 2010 and won the Brit Award for best British album.
How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful topped the charts in Britain and America in 2015. On the Dance Fever tour in 2022, Welch had a life-threatening medical emergency. Everybody Scream came out of her recovery, with witchcraft, folk horror and mysticism running through it.
She had broken her foot on stage at this arena on the previous tour. This time the show opened with the title song, Welch in a blood-red dress on a long walkway with four dancers billed as her Witch Choir. Older songs such as “Shake It Out” and “Cosmic Love” followed for a sold-out audience of about 20,000.
On the second night, Mark Bowen of IDLES, who appears on the album, joined her on guitar for “One of the Greats”.
