/ About

The Webster Covent Garden opened in October 2026 at 62 Lincoln's Inn Fields, the largest public square in London. It is the first hotel of a new brand from Altus Hospitality, a 167-bedroom conversion of the former Club Quarters building with interiors by the London studio Red Deer. The name comes from Noah Webster, the lexicographer, and the hotel runs a weekly programme of small gatherings with artists, musicians, authors and designers.

The dining is Italian and spread across three rooms. Al Banco is the café and aperitivo bar on the ground floor, with a terrace facing the square. Carmelina's, the restaurant, sits a level below, with velvet booths, a hammered-gold bar and live jazz in the evenings. Beyond it is Carla's List, a late-night bar with a disco ball and an Italo-disco soundtrack.

For a private event, the hotel lets two event rooms and its three Italian rooms. The Open Book is the largest space, at 166 square metres, taking 160 for a reception. The Library takes 100 standing and 48 at round tables. Carmelina's can be taken whole for about 115 guests, and Carla's List takes 50 for a standing reception.
