The Twenty Two

A 42,500-square-foot Edwardian manor on Grosvenor Square, The Twenty Two operates as a hotel, neighbourhood restaurant, and private members' club under one roof. Interiors by Natalia Miyar draw on 18th-century French classicism, rendered in saturated colour, velvet upholstery, gold fringing and bevelled mirrors throughout. Thirty-one bedrooms sit above a ground-floor Living Room and an outdoor terrace overlooking the square.

The Club occupies the ground and lower ground floors and comprises four distinct spaces: The Living Room, The Dining Room, The Music Room, and The Vault Bar with its own lower-ground terrace. The Music Room is a moodily lit, leopard-carpeted discotheque with a DJ booth for late-night sessions. Access to all club areas is reserved for hotel guests and members. The round-the-clock restaurant is open to the public and serves modern British cuisine with European influences under Executive Chef Alan Christie.

For private events, the venue offers a hand-painted Private Dining Room seating 24 or standing 40, and the North Side Restaurant, a semi-private section of the main floor holding up to 44 seated or 80 standing. Club spaces are available for private hire on a bespoke basis. The address, the manor's heritage, and the Music Room's resident DJ setup make this a compelling choice for intimate celebrations in Mayfair.
