/ About

The Ritz Restaurant is a Louis XVI salon of 1906: marble columns, gilded garlands and tall arched windows opening onto the hotel's Italian garden, under painted ceilings and crystal chandeliers. It keeps a formality of service, including trolley carving and tableside finishing, that few rooms in London still maintain.

Executive Chef John Williams MBE has led the kitchen since 2004. It holds two MICHELIN stars in the 2026 guide and was named Restaurant of the Year at the 2025 National Restaurant Awards, cooking in the French classical tradition with seasonal British produce. On Friday and Saturday evenings the room becomes Live at The Ritz, with a pianist, a dance orchestra and a floor for dancing after dinner.

For private events the restaurant can be taken exclusively, while the adjoining Ritz Room seats up to ten for a secluded lunch or dinner. The kitchen prepares bespoke menus for hosted occasions, and a jacket and tie are required.
