Refuel

Refuel is the restaurant and bar of Firmdale's Soho Hotel, tucked down Richmond Mews on the site of a former NCP car park. Kit Kemp's interior leans into that history with characteristic colour and wit: bold orange columns, tartan and stripe upholstery, and a long oak-and-pewter bar whose full-length mural by Alexander Hollweg reimagines the old garage as a Rousseau-style jungle reclaiming a wrecked car. Vintage Dinky toys sit in Perspex cases as coffee tables. It is a busy, art-filled brasserie that draws Soho's film and media crowd, a short walk from the West End theatres.

The kitchen serves modern British and European cooking with an emphasis on seasonal produce, running from breakfast and afternoon tea through pre- and post-theatre menus to a full dinner and Sunday roast, alongside the house Nine Regions cocktail list. The main dining room seats the length of the mews floor; the bar keeps its own later hours for drinks and small parties.

For private events, Refuel connects to The Soho Hotel's flexible spaces, including the Sandra Blow Room, a self-contained private dining room with Kit Kemp interiors that also works as a boardroom or reception. The restaurant floor can be taken for larger receptions and launches, and the hotel's events team handles bookings across the interconnecting rooms. Availability and layouts are arranged on enquiry.
