Rosi at The Beaumont

Rosi opened on 1 October 2025 in the ground-floor room at The Beaumont that had held The Colony Grill for a decade. The change was deliberate. Chief executive Stuart Procter set out to replace the Colony's dark, clubby register with something brighter, and the room now runs on pastel plaster, ribbed columns, marble tops and banquettes in dusty pink and sage velvet. Luke Edward Hall painted the murals that carry the walls, loose figures dining and dancing, hung above mahogany panelling and a line of small framed drawings in the same hand. The restaurant is named after Rosemary Said, wife of the hotel's owner Wafic Said.

The kitchen belongs to Lisa Goodwin-Allen, appointed Culinary Director and one of very few women in Britain to have held a Michelin star, which she did at Northcote for more than twenty years. She works with executive chef Brendan Fyldes and executive head chef Jozef Rogulski, who ran The Game Bird at The Stafford London for eight years. The menu reads as British classics handled with some wit: dry-aged beef tartare, seafood cocktail, chicken Kyiv, seasonal pies built to be carved at the table, steaks cut from English Wagyu and Lake District beef.

Rosi takes exclusive hire for milestone celebrations and larger private events, with the hotel's events team handling the arrangements from events@thebeaumont.com. The room reads well after dark, when the backlit panelling and the wall lights pick up the pink of the booths. A raised central walkway splits the floor into two banquette runs, which gives a host a natural head of room. The Beaumont keeps three separate private dining rooms upstairs, so Rosi is hired as itself rather than as an overflow space.
