Plaisterers' Hall

Plaisterers' Hall is the largest livery hall interior in the City of London, built for the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers inside One London Wall, the Foster & Partners office block on the corner of London Wall and Noble Street. The current Hall dates from 2004, when the previous 1972 interior was rebuilt as part of the building's redevelopment. The Great Hall seats up to 330 for a formal dinner under a domed, gilded ceiling hung with crystal chandeliers, its lighting adjustable to any colour, with direct access onto a small terrace facing a surviving stretch of the old London Wall.

Three further rooms adjoin it on the same floor. The Livery Hall runs alongside for a smaller dinner or a drinks reception ahead of the main event; the Humber Room and Mott Room, both compact, serve as breakout spaces, green rooms or production bases when the Hall is dressed for a show. Every room has its own sound system and colour-changeable lighting, and the venue can be dry-hired, so an external caterer can use its kitchens instead of the in-house team.

A City livery hall built to take several hundred guests for a banquet or reception without losing its formality, a ten-minute walk from Bank, St Paul's and the Barbican.
