Horizon 22

Horizon 22 occupies Level 58 of 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City, 254 metres above the street. The floor is one room and one room only: 817 square metres under an 8.4-metre ceiling, wrapped on every side by floor-to-ceiling glass that opens 300 degrees across London, from the Thames and the Tower to St Paul's and the Shard. A dedicated lift reaches Level 58 in 41 seconds, so guests arrive at the view rather than working up to it.

Searcys runs the events business, and hire is exclusive by default. There are no shared spaces and no second event running alongside yours. The floor takes 280 for a seated dinner or 500 standing, and it has been dressed for gala dinners, award ceremonies, product launches, receptions and wedding celebrations. A 4.6 by 6.6 metre 4K screen, a house sound system, stage lighting and moving and static LED fixtures are installed, and the venue accepts third-party performers by prior agreement, which is what makes it work for a DJ-led evening rather than only a dinner.

Availability is the thing to plan around: the floor trades as a public viewing gallery through the day, so hire runs 6am to 9.30am and 7pm to 3am, seven days a week. Menus come from Searcys, with a fine-dining events collaboration by the two-Michelin-starred Alex Dilling launched in 2026, and the sommelier team advises on pairings.
