/ About
MRBL is a British steakhouse inside Leadenhall Market, the Grade II listed covered market that once traded in meat and poultry. It opened in March 2026 across two floors, with a small terrace set under the market's painted Victorian roof and tall windows that look straight out onto the arcade.
The room is dark and clubby: oxblood leather banquettes, ribbed glass pendants and an arched mirror over the dining floor. The kitchen cooks native-breed beef from the butcher HG Walter over charcoal, dry-aged for at least 35 days, with the large house cuts grilled on the bone to share. Executive chef Matt Colk leads it, and the wine list was put together with the consultant Nicola Hale. The MICHELIN Guide added it to its London selection in its first year.
The whole restaurant seats 75 and is available for private hire, which suits a birthday dinner or a City celebration that wants the market as its backdrop.
