/ About

Mount St. Restaurant occupies the first floor of The Audley, the red-brick Victorian building on the corner of Mount Street and South Audley Street. It is the London restaurant of Artfarm, the hospitality company behind Braemar's Fife Arms, and it opened in 2022 with a modern British menu drawn from the city's own culinary history. Red bentwood chairs sit on a terrazzo floor commissioned from the artist Rashid Johnson, and the walls carry works by Lucian Freud, Frank Bowling, George Condo and David Hockney, part of a collection of more than 200 pieces spread through the building.

Four private rooms occupy the floors above, each given over to a country and its art. The Italian Rooms pair a Venetian-styled dining room with a small adjoining bar for receptions; the Swiss Room takes its marquetry floor from the artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp; and the Scottish Room, the largest, seats up to twenty-eight beneath an antler chandelier at a nine-metre oak table, with a portrait of Bonnie Prince Charlie above. At the top of the turret, the Games Room is a darker, low-lit space with a card table and its own bar, made for late soirees.

The rooms hire individually or together, and the main dining room takes larger groups; the events team quotes on a full buy-out. It is a room-led setting rather than a ballroom, suited to dinners, receptions and intimate celebrations.
