/ About
On the ground floor of Mortimer House, an Art Deco building on the corner of Mortimer and Wells Street, Mortimer House Kitchen is the Italian restaurant, bar and terrace open to the public beneath the members' floors above. An open kitchen anchors the room, with a marble-topped bar running alongside a mix of banquette and table seating. The kitchen's cooking draws on the Amalfi coast and Lake Orta, built around handmade pasta, seasonal Italian produce and family-style sharing plates, served from breakfast through to dinner.
Private dining runs through the glass-roofed Conservatory, an extension at the rear of the restaurant with exposed brick, hanging festoon lights and its own curtain for semi-privacy from the main floor: feasting menus for groups of nine to twenty, served family-style. The wider restaurant is available for exclusive hire, and a covered, heated terrace on the street corner seats a further forty-five for al fresco dining in the warmer months.
Mortimer House Kitchen is part of Maslow's, the hospitality group behind Nessa, Yasmin and 1 Warwick.
