/ About
Hakkasan Mayfair occupies a two-floor space on Bruton Street, designed by Christian Liaigre in the vocabulary that made the original Hakkasan a landmark: dark latticed wood screens, blue-washed lighting, and a persistent sense of theatre that stops well short of spectacle. The Cantonese kitchen runs from lunch through late dinner, while the bar — resident DJs Wednesday through Saturday — keeps the ground floor alive until 1am on weekends.
For private events, the venue offers four distinct configurations. The Ling Ling Lounge on the ground floor is the standout: its own bar, scarlet accents and rosewood finishes, and capacity for up to 65 seated or 120 standing make it the natural choice for a DJ-led dinner or late reception. Downstairs, the Lower Ground Floor can be taken privately for up to 172 seated, surrounded by the signature lattice screens and teal banquettes that define Hakkasan's look. Two smaller rooms — The Dragon Room, with its crimson walls and amber sculptural ceiling light, and The Wine Cellar, a semi-private dining space set against floor-to-ceiling wine racks — complete the private hire offering.
The address is one of the quietest in Mayfair, a short walk from Bond Street, and the venue's operational hours (and existing DJ programme) make it a straightforward fit for late-evening private events.
/ Rooms Available
Lower Ground Floor
Exclusive HireThe lower level offers the full Hakkasan experience at scale: intricate latticed dark wood screens dividing the room into intimate sections, teal leather banquettes, and an atmospheric blue-tinged light wash across 172 covers. Available for full private hire, the floor can also support its own music programme.
Ling Ling Lounge
PrivateThe ground-floor lounge and bar is Hakkasan's most event-ready space: scarlet tones, rosewood panelling, its own dedicated bar, and a mix of round dining tables, high-tops and lounge seating that shifts naturally between dinner and a late reception. Resident DJs play Wednesday through Saturday, and the space can be taken fully private for up to 65 seated or 120 standing.
The Wine Cellar
Semi PrivateA semi-private dining area on the lower ground floor, defined by floor-to-ceiling wine racks illuminated from within and dark wood lattice screens that maintain a sense of separation from the main restaurant. Seats up to 50 and works well for seated dinners where guests want the energy of the room around them.
The Dragon Room
PrivateA fully enclosed private dining room dressed in deep crimson lacquer and dark wood, with a sculptural amber light centrepiece overhead. Set for up to 20, it is the most intimate and visually dramatic space in the building — suited to a formal dinner or a small celebration where discretion matters.
