Mr Porter London

Mr Porter arrived on Park Lane in early 2025, the first London outing for the Amsterdam steakhouse run by The Entourage Group. It occupies the corner of the London Hilton that Trader Vic's held for half a century, and the transformation is total: a copper street door opens onto a monochrome foyer, then the room drops away into 700 square metres designed by Baranowitz + Kronenberg. Earthy copper tones, fluted curtain walls, polished mirror ceilings and natural stone set a deliberately low, warm light, and the whole floor is built to shift from dinner service into a later, louder evening.

The centrepiece is a double-height circular bar that runs a full 360 degrees, its illuminated tiers of bottles visible from across the room and its stools facing inward so the crowd mingles around it. The main dining floor wraps the bar in velvet chairs and banquettes, with an illuminated spiral staircase as its signature gesture. Two communal set-pieces anchor group bookings: the Royal Table for up to 21, set against the open kitchen and its chilled displays, and the more enclosed Chef's Table for up to 14 at the rear. Below the energy of the restaurant sits Do Not Disturb, a red-lit speakeasy lounge with banquette seating, mirrored tables and a resident DJ setup that holds up to 90 and keeps the bar running to 3am.

For private events the team takes bookings from 13 guests up to a full buy-out of 400 standing across the whole venue, speakeasy included. Bespoke menus, premium drinks packages and a dedicated events team come as standard, and the late licence makes it one of the more capable rooms in Mayfair for a dinner that carries on well past midnight. Park Lane sits a few minutes from Hyde Park Corner and Green Park.
