Gaia Mayfair

Gaia arrived on Dover Street in December 2023, occupying a multi-storey townhouse steps from Piccadilly. The ground-floor main dining room seats 150 across white-linen tables beneath a cloud of globe chandeliers, its walls lined with black-and-white photography and a salad bar anchored by a wood-fired oven. The palette is bleached linen and terracotta, with Greek amphorae lit behind arched display shelves. A sculptural spiral staircase in Rosso Verona marble leads to the first-floor Lounge Bar, open until midnight.

For private events, the venue offers several distinct configurations. The Library and Podium are the most intimate — semi-screened sections of the dining floor with their own character and views over Dover Street. The Lounge Bar on the first floor draws a cocktail crowd from 4pm and is available for full private hire, its arched windows and teal-railed mezzanine making it one of the more distinctive evening spaces in Mayfair. A wine cellar beneath the restaurant holds vintage Greek and European labels and is available for small private tastings.

Gaia is available for full-venue exclusive hire combining the Bar, dining floor, and private sections, suited to celebrations where the brief is Mediterranean warmth and a strong sense of occasion. The in-house events team handles enquiries directly.
