Crystal Bar at The Wellesley

Crystal Bar sits within The Wellesley on Hyde Park Corner, a cocktail room styled after the Jazz Age. A curved marble counter, lit from within, anchors a space of mirrored Art Deco fretwork, dark lacquered walls and cabinets holding the hotel's collections of whisky, cognac and Armagnac. Tables are unreserved and taken first come, first served through the evening, and the bar team builds either from a long list of classics or to a guest's own brief.

Off the bar, a heated terrace looks out over Hyde Park Corner and holds one of London's largest collections of Cuban cigars, kept in a walk-in humidor. The room takes private cocktail receptions and social gatherings for up to a hundred, working as an intimate reception space in its own right or alongside the hotel's Jazz Lounge and Oval Restaurant.
